It Was a Window of Opportunity - Bitcoin & Cryptocurrencies
Volunteer Latin America was the first organisation in the voluntary sector (and possibly the only organisation) to give people the "heads-up" about investing in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin. In mid-March 2020 you could have bought one Bitcoin for as little as US$4,000; the Bitcoin price today is US$17,000 (17 November, 2020). An astonishing profit in just eight months. Even if you had bought at US$10,000 that is still a great investment. Bitcoin has been the top performing asset of 2020, outpacing gold and silver.
For us, we knew this day would come, but for many, this was a total surprise. Now the price of Bitcoin has hit $17,000 and is closing in on its previous ATH (all-time high) of almost $20,000, many are now asking, "Should I buy now, or wait for a pull back?" I cannot provide you with financial advice in relation to cryptocurrencies and the decision to invest any capital into this market is your sole decision. However, I can offer my personal opinion via email for informational and entertainment purposes only.
Aside from the enormous growth potential of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, there is another important reason why people should consider investing in this space; the true ownership of money. The end game is Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) where governments would be able to track, trace, and automatically tax every transaction. With CBDCs looming on the horizon, a digital currency that cannot be touched or censored by governments is vital to preserve wealth and freedom. That is the magic.
Volunteer Latin America is excited to work together with Kraken in order to advance the mission of crypto. Kraken is the most trusted cryptocurrency exchange on the market and in our opinion the best place to buy and sell cryptocurrencies online. Whether you are a crypto-beginner or an advanced trader, Kraken gives you the power to chart your own financial course. Click here to create an account with Kraken.
