We are a non-profit organization that; through an innovative model; aims to integrate unemployed women (generally mothers) into society. These women are in precarious situation due to the lack of jobs.
The model consists of promoting a work environment teaching sewing techniques and offering personal and completely equipped workshops in our teaching Centre. In these workshops; women are taught how to cut; sew and print fabric to be prepared to achieve actual market needs and requirements.
In order to finance the costs of the teaching centre and give the opportunity of learning to more women; we created a socially responsible clothing brand of t-shirts
We provide volunteers the opportunity to get to know and meet Argentinean people and help out with administrative tasks; which is essential for Mediapila. The organization is mainly integrated by young people with strength and high ideals to make a difference in many Argentinean women and families. Volunteers are helped to understand how to perform the different activities; they work in group and have motivational goals to achieve. They have access to a computer; internet and a work space.

A basic level of Spanish is required.
There is no cost to participate but volunteers are responsible for covering their own living expenses. There are various types of low cost accommodation available in Buenos Aires and volunteers may receive help with regards to finding accommodation.
