We are looking for volunteers who can help us in the maintenance of our Nature Preserve; clearing and signing the paths through the reserve and checking the condition of the trails. Volunteers will also work in our organic garden and help us in the kitchen to prepare our meals. They will also learn how to bake bread; do chili sauce and jams. Depending on the time of the year; we also work in the maintenance of our infrastructure (the houses) and we are planning to build a new house in the next months so we also need help for that! The help is between 2 and 3 hours per day and the weekends are free!!
We are protecting a 963 hectares area that was exploited 40 years ago but is now recovering. Our preserve is inside the Biosphere Reserve of the Yungas; one of the wildest areas in Argentina. We live here and we are looking to be self sufficient in the future; so volunteers will work with us in the organic garden and help and learn how to make jams; chilli sauce and tofu (everything with our organic ingredients). They will also cook and eat together with us every day.
Our main principal is to save the forest from deforestation; so any idea or suggestion is welcome.
We offer Spanish Classes for all volunteers who don´t speak Spanish. This provides the possibility to learn Spanish in a beautiful environment at a very low cost. We have taught Spanish for many years and received travellers from all over the world.

25000 Argentinean pesos per week which includes accommodation and three vegetarian meals per day (breakfast; lunch and dinner – 100% organic food from our garden). Volunteers sleep in a shared cabin with bathroom and hot water (sleeping bag required).
