Volunteer at Eco-lodge Close to Iguazu Falls

Yacutinga Lodge & Private Nature Reserve

About the Program

Our lodge and private nature reserve is fully committed to responsible volunteer work following modern concepts of sustainable tourism.

There are two volunteer possibilities:

From October to April – We receive volunteers to assist our environmental guides during the eco-tours organized by our lodge.

From April to October – We are looking for volunteers to help teach English to our staff.

Selection of candidates will be based on the evaluation of the prospective volunteers; curriculum vitae and the personal volunteer work form which we will send to you when you write us.

The volunteer will be able to discover the natural wonders of the Yacutinga Reserve; as part of the most remarkable bio-diverse area of our country.

They will participate in our eco-tours as auxiliaries; they will canoe through the gentle waters of the jungle; hike through dense forest; observe wild fauna; learn how to identify wild species; about medicinal plants; orchids; bromeliads etc.

This is a volunteer opportunity exclusively for those who love Nature; like adventure; open skies and a natural way of living.

The volunteer program implies the acquisition of knowledge and training necessary to develop his/her activities.

At the end of the program; the volunteer will be given a certificate of achievement; as well as the evaluation results.
