We are looking for motivated and committed volunteers to help us in either our 4000 hectare private reserve; or in our main office. The reserve provides a natural shelter to a great diversity of flora and fauna with; among others; jaguars; ocelots; pumas; monkeys; reptiles and more than 300 bird-species. This rich biodiversity and healthy eco-system are a result of the conservational and protective activities carried out inside the reserve.
Volunteer activities:
General Support: Supporting staff by receiving clients and carrying out basic chores inside the Reserve: assisting clients with questions or other necessities and possibly maintenance; cleaning and development of the Reserve’s infrastructure.
Education: It is possible to teach English to the local staff on condition that the volunteer is available for an extensive period of time. When teaching English or other foreign language speaking skills; the volunteer will need to engage in and commit to understanding the future perspectives of our staff.
Marketing: Supporting the development of our marketing strategy in the offices in La Paz and Rurrenabaque (Online and offline promotion; social media; travel blogs; etc.).
Translation: Our team is made up of individuals from indigenous communities from the Madidi Mosaic. All team members have a profound knowledge of their natural environment; but do not speak foreign languages. Translators are needed to accompany our guides and transfer their knowledge.
Sales and Customer Service: Sales and customer service are an important facet of our activities. Good service is the foundation of leaving a good impression of ourselves and our activities; just as sales are the foundation of the product we offer. Volunteers working in this department basically respond to any possible questions asked; in the language of the client.
At the end of their volunteering period all volunteers will obtain a certificate of recognition.

Our volunteers need to be enthusiastic; optimistic; demonstrate passion for what they do and have a high level of experience in their field of expertise. Moreover; they must proof a valuable asset to our team and at the same time be willing to learn about the Bolivian Amazon. The volunteer experience is greatly enhanced with a basic understanding of the Spanish language; however; this is not essential. Good level of Spanish required for translation work.
Office work does not carry any costs; however; accommodation and meals are not included. After the voluntary work has been completed; volunteers obtain free entrance to the Reserve; they are allowed to accompany a group of tourists and take part in the tour. Voluntary work inside the Reserve carries costs. These costs vary depending on the competences of the volunteer. In exchange for these costs volunteers receive: transport to and from Rurrenabaque to the Serere Reserve; full meals with the staff; accommodation and exploration of the area with the camp team. The costs will be determined by our CEO.
