Welcome to our Community Center; a 96 acre plot of tropical forest. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to public health in rural Bolivia. The center offers service learning opportunities for university students from abroad; and multiple day workshops for local village leaders; elected authorities; health care workers; and community health promoters. We are in the early stage of development; therefore our focus is on soliciting groups from abroad; constructing and maintaining the grounds and cabins with cleaning as needed. The center provides lodging in rustic cabins; with homemade vegetarian meals. Volunteers work in teams of two; to prepare the main meal of the day (lunch) for our normal weekday team (8 people). The outdoor classrooms connect the participants with the natural surroundings. We are focused on creating model systems for a variety of demonstrations including; water filtration; renewable energy; organic gardens; medicinal plant gardens; walking trails; dry composting latrines; and more. These models inform and inspire visitors to implement the model in their community; to improve the quality of health and disease prevention in their home and village; cultivating a culture of sharing and collaborating.
Our community of Bolivian and international staff; and international volunteers; works together as a team. We are vegetarian and share a midday meal together during weekdays.

We provide free accommodation with fully equipped kitchen; local transportation; and shared meals.
