Capoeira Therapy Brazil
Description
It is a therapy project where Capoeira (traditional sport in Brazil) is used as a therapy for patients with mental and physical disabilities. Capoeira is a mixture of marital art, game and dance and involves a lot of interaction with a partner - more mental than physical. Music also plays significant part in the practice. Playing musical instruments and singing complete this multi-dimensional therapy approach.
Tasks:
- Assist during Capoeira therapy sessions
- Play musical instruments and sing
- Interact with the patients
