We are a non-profit organization that is building a unified database on individual jaguars in the world’s most wild wetland; the Pantanal.
We are looking for jaguar field assistants. Work activities include camera trap and radio telemetry monitoring. This is really heavy field work and not a light volunteer experience.

The project coordinator doesn’t have the time to respond to applicants that don’t meet these requirements (e.g. degree in one of the sciences; some type of fluency in Portuguese; etc).

Adults of both sexes 18+
Degree in one of the sciences; experience collecting and entering data; fluency in English and Portuguese; comfortable in being in a boat during extreme weather conditions.
Interns receive free lodging; meals; airport pick-up and drop-off; and a stipend of US$400 per month.
