Our biological reserve is located close to Santa Marta and Tayrona National Park. We have created a collection of tropical trees; palms; medicinal plants and water plants. The reserve also protects various wildlife of the area. We have an eco-lodge and restaurant on-site.
We are looking for volunteers to help out with gardening; in the ecolodge and restaurant; and for various tasks in the reserve such as maintenance work; guiding tours; and caring for and feeding the animals.
Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about plants and medicinal plants in general. Within the Reserve there are some ancient Tayrona trails and the Manzanares River where you can swim and relax. Around the reserve there are many waterfalls and also the opportunity to discover more trails and terraces.
Volunteers must have health insurance.

Volunteers receive free accommodation and contribute 15; 000 pesos per day (approx. US$5) to cover food costs (breakfast; lunch and dinner). We specialise in vegetarian food.
