We are a non profit organisation that monitors and protects nesting sea turtles on the southern Pacific coast of Costa Rica. We mainly work with Olive Ridley’s.
We are looking for field assistants for the peak nesting period. Duties include night beach monitoring; collecting research data; hatchery management; guiding and training volunteers and visitors.
We also offer regular volunteer opportunities and accommodate University students wishing to do a research internship with us in the reserve.

Adults of both sexes 18+
English speaking with some Spanish (basic minimum). A background in biology, ecology, or similar preferred. Should be in good shape and capable of living under hot and humid conditions in the tropics. Good communication and organizational skills. Experience in sea turtles will be good but the organization will provide training.
Free lodging and food plus a US$300 per month stipend.
