We are a vegan run organic farm; animal sanctuary and rehabilitation centre. We grow a wide variety of organic food; prepare and eat tasty vegan meals; and rescue injured; sick; or abandoned animals.
If you are interested in a vegan lifestyle; organic farming and love animals we would love to hear from you. Volunteer tasks will; include animal care (e.g. washing animals; providing medical care; cleaning of pens; walking dogs; cutting grass for the horse and pigs); working in gardens (e.g. creating plant beds; weeding; planting; harvesting); farm maintenance (clearing trails; canal maintenance; repairing fences; cutting weeds); etc.
There are many free-time activities such as hiking to the waterfalls; white water rafting; yoga; trading English lessons for boxing lessons; bird watching; visiting La Marta wildlife preserve; visiting Volcan Irazu; visiting a sloth sanctuary; or just hanging out in the hammock.

We are looking for animal loving; hard working; self-motivated individuals who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
US$50 per week for accommodation with comfortable bed and two delicious vegan meals per day (breakfast and lunch). Food is provided for volunteers to prepare their evening meals.
