We are a Wildlife Sanctuary and Rescue Center located in on the central pacific coast in Quepos; Costa Rica. We rescue over 100 animals each year; always with the goal to release whenever possible. Animals we receive include sloths; monkeys; parrots; coatimundis; anteaters; kinkajous; and more. Volunteers are welcome year-round to help out in our wildlife sanctuary; assisting the manager with food prep; cleaning; feeding; enrichment and animal behaviour studies. No experience is necessary; and length of stay is flexible (minimum stay: 1 week). We are also seeking qualified interns for three months or longer in our Veterinary Clinic/Nursery/Rehabilitation Center; and our Sanctuary. We offer other internships for gap-year students; undergraduates or recent graduates interested in gaining experience in wildlife management and conservation.
