We are an environmental consulting firm founded in 1979 that provides services in the USA; Ecuador and other countries in Latin America.
The Ecuador branch office offers internships. We are looking for environmental professionals; graduate students or graduating undergraduates for internships in Ecuador.
We are looking for good writers and project managers as well as GIS specialists; Biologists; Hydrologists; Environmental Engineers; and Social Scientists.
Possible work includes environmental studies in the Ecuadorian Amazon; Galapagos and Andes and some international work in Peru.
We also seek environmental consultants with 2 to 5 years experience. Job responsibilities include project management of multi-disciplinary teams involved in upstream petroleum; mining; airport and wind energy permitting in sensitive areas (indigenous reserves and national parks). Responsibilities are mostly office based but also require travel to remote locations in the Ecuadorian Amazon; Galapagos and Andes. English and Spanish proficiency required for report writing; translations and meetings with clients. Basic salary will be negotiated based on experience of professional applicant.

At a minimum we will cover living expenses whilst in Quito for internships.
