Project Coordinator

El Infinito

About the Program

We are a community based organisation whose goal is to provide a community demonstration centre for people from urban areas to learn about healthy; sustainable and low-cost ways in which they can improve their standard of living and reduce their environmental impact. Urbanisation in Guatemala is growing; and along with it urban poverty. With both resource and capacity constraints; urban poverty is a multidimensional phenomenon that requires a multidimensional solution.

The program coordinator will work with the team on the ground in Xela; working with local students to apply our curriculum and work with them in the garden. As a volunteer; you will be expected to work about 15-20 hours per week in both the El Infinito gardens as well as nearby sustainability projects.
