We are a small organization that works within the Guatemalan community addressing educational and healthcare needs.
Our medical and dental clinic serves indigenous Mayan rural villages surrounding Lake Atitlan in the highlands of Guatemala. The primary care clinic has a local nurse and staff with a supporting group of local health promoters.
We are always in need of individual volunteers with some experience in health and education to join us. We are especially eager to accept medical professionals awith the following credentials or experience: general practitioner; nurse practitioner; ophthalmologist; dermatologist; gynaecologist or midwife; physical therapist; dentist or dental hygienist; med tech; pathologist; public health worker.

Volunteers with relevant qualification and experience plus basic Spanish speaking skills (minimum).
There is no cost to participate but volunteers are responsible for covering their own living expenses.
