Work-Trade Opportunities

We offer work/trade opportunities for wellness professionals (e.g. Yoga; martial arts; Tai Chi; Pilates and fitness instructors). Our visiting instructors and therapists have had wonderful experiences; and most end up staying longer than they thought they would!

It is important that we explain how the visiting instructor program operates; so that we both have clear expectations for what you time here would be like. Basically; we ask for a reasonable number of work hours per week in exchange for housing (and all utilities; internet and laundry service) and 16 meals per week (simple; vegetarian). Each week; we’ll use an Excel document to balance the hours that you have worked with the cost of the room/food and any spa services you may have enjoyed (with a 40% discount!). Typically; we’ll ask you to teach between 6 and 8 classes per week; although occasionally we may ask you to teach as many as 9 (but this is rare).

The room is comfortable. It has a fan; a queen size bed. One of the rooms has a half-bathroom and the other; less expensive one has a sink. There is a separate bathroom and the shower is shared among the visiting instructors.

You’ll be part of a cohesive team at PURE; all of our visiting instructors have gotten along well with the staff; and many have described a family feeling at PURE that they have really enjoyed.

If you’d like to continue the conversation about your coming to PURE; please let us know. Let us know when you are thinking about coming down and for how long. Also; if you have any other information (a resume or CV; a website; or a bio); please send it as well. Feel free to send us any questions that you might have.

Participants are welcome to attend any of the other regular fitness and/or Yoga classes we offer while staying with us.
