Wawawasi (House of Children in Quechua Language) is an amazing centre for poor children full of energy and great hopes. Our childcare program is very flexible; no special skills are needed; however full energy is required. The children at the projects we work with require a lot of care; attention and most importantly; companionship.
Volunteer can organize extra activities like:
Children from 1 to 5 years old attend our program; where the mean goal is to teach children basic knowledge of colours; language; music; numbers and to grow in a safe; clean; proper environment feeling loving; caring and strong. There are about 50 children attending to our program; their families come from poor or broken marriages. Some of these children are orphans and taken care by relatives.

No previous volunteer experience or other qualifications are necessary as all skills are useful in our projects.
US$439 per volunteer. The program includes: volunteer project management and administration for your selected program length; accommodation with host family; 2 meals per day (breakfast and dinner); airport pick-up; volunteer certificate; 24/7 support from our staff in Peru.
