We are looking for travelers to gather information on Peruvian culture for a database and blog. As a volunteer it will be your job to update these mediums with subjects that peak your interest; whether it be food; dance; art; music; travel; sports; politics or history; you will have the flexibility to explore topics that engage you.
Your goal while volunteering for us in Peru is to gather as much information on the locations you visit and the people you meet. It is your job to publish articles; stories; city facts and travel information; news and sports updates. This volunteer program can truly be a young writers dream and a perfect opportunity for bloggers and social activists to polish their skills.
Volunteer tasks: research; photography; blogging; video editing (not part of job requirement). Volunteers will also have the opportunity to work on affiliated humanitarian programs.
On the weekends you are free to travel throughout Peru visiting locations such as Machu Picchu and the Nazca Lines. Volunteers will receive help planning trips across Peru and be given special prices on services through our affiliated tour company.
This is great opportunity for bloggers; journalists as well as the passionate traveler who wants to have an in depth look at the country they are visiting.

Adults of both sexes 18-30
Positive attitude; social/team player skills; internet savvy (Wordpress, Wikis, HTML); goal orientated; adventurous. Must have own laptop and camera. Spanish is recommended but not required.
Our volunteer program costs US$70 a week which includes lodging, utilities and wi-fi access. Meals not included. An airport pick-up costs US$15.
