Our project; a social work initiative; is working with indigenous women in the village community of Andahuaylillas (one hour outside of Cuzco). By providing open; bright and comfortable workshops where beautiful handcrafted dolls; doll clothing and other articles are created; we have created an atmosphere which fosters self-esteem; personal growth and a way to gain economic independence through learning life skills in a community setting.
As well as supporting productive and artistic work we also care for the youngest preschoolers of the working women and provide classes for primary school age children. We are currently in the process of constructing a primary school.
Our project welcomes everyone who is at least 20 years old and who would like to serve the wonderful women of we work with. Volunteers work for 7.5 hours a day; 5 days a week.

We are able to offer full room and board for US$12 per day within the compound grounds. We will assist any volunteer in finding other accommodation if necessary.
