Teaching is a challenging and highly rewarding occupation that assists in shaping the future of many lives. This is especially true in Peru where students are eager to learn and broaden their prospects. Teaching English to students in another country enables a rich insight into a different culture; and volunteering with us will allow you to immerse within Peruvian life in a way that is unavailable to passing travellers. You will soon find yourself recognising people wherever you go and being invited to special occasions and celebrations as an integral member of the community. We offer a truly flexible service and are able to tailor volunteering placements; specialist Spanish lessons and unique cultural activities to suit your individual interests and skills. Full support is available from Luis Delgado and his family for the duration of your stay; ensuring your experience is as enjoyable and fulfilling. We can guarantee that you will leave Huaraz with many wonderful memories and feel that you have contributed to the local people in a beneficial and meaningful way.

Children, teenagers, adults and seniors of both sexes (we are happy to accept families. Volunteers under eighteen are welcome too but need parentsufffd permission)
Anyone who wants to join our projects should be honest, reliable, trustworthy, and hardworking. We prefer non heavy smokers or alcoholic people either. We also don’t accept people wanting to get extreme experiences.
Accommodation and board fee is US$110 per week or US$420 for 4 weeks, this includes three meals a day from Monday to Friday, a private room with a private bathroom, hot showers, with the chance to cook in the kitchen by using our resources, laundry machine, wifi. US$160 placement fee, this includes airport pick up in Lima, (8 hours away from Huaraz city) a night in Lima in a flat, the bus ticket Lima-Huaraz, escorting the volunteer. This also includes organisation of your homestay accommodation; orientation about Huaraz and the surrounding area; training sessions about liaising with Peruvian people, teaching techniques and working with students; organisation of Spanish lessons or tutorials if desired; arrangement of any cultural activities of interest; help and assistance in purchasing bus and tour tickets to explore the local area and beyond; 24 hour support for the duration of your volunteering program.
