Volunteer at Cultural Center Peru
Description
The poorest population is given the opportunity to have access to culture through training activities in different areas, developing academic workshops and supporting artistic creation such as dance, theatre, music, plastic arts, literature, Peruvian folklore, among others.
The relevance of archaeology in our culture is also present at the cultural center. Once we had the Mario Roberto Cahuas Abusabal collection of archaeological goods, a permanent exhibition of archaeological pieces was implemented where the pre-Hispanic cultural wealth will be exhibited to the general public for free, promoting culture in its identity and artistic sense. Finally, the community will also be welcomed in our Solidarity Dining Room, a place where lunch is provided free of charge to anyone who needs a plate of food and a hug of support.
Volunteers can participate in:
- Workshops: supporting teachers (according their skills)
- Dining room: supporting cooking meals (according their skills)
- Our museum: support our archaeological team to conserve the pieces of our collection
- Or they can present their own propose to work according their skills
