Work with Street Dogs

The Perros Project

About the Program

Our mission is to improve the lives of the street dogs by establishing a bi-annual spay and neuter clinic; supporting the local dog shelter through construction projects and donations; and educating the local community about the value of the human/animal relationship.

The volunteer work is very hands-on and includes helping veterinarians with free spay/neuter and medical clinic work; taking general care of the dogs at local animal shelter; construction projects at the animal shelter; and conducting community outreach. All interested volunteers should be proficient Spanish as there is little English spoken in the area.
